SECTION 232 Decision Risk Reward
March 17th – Less than a month to go. I am terrified and buying. Buying alot here.
- If this decision goes through asset prices will rise instantly. This will take out the possibility of a low entry. (GREED)
- If this decision does not go through asset prices will be crushed. (FEAR)
1 or 2. The risk of missing the move in some of these companies may be 2-4X instantly because assets will now be worth vastly more than prior. Small companies can write assets back on the balance sheet and get financing and move forward. Large companies will have contract to hedge for growth.
Barbell Strategy Confidence and High Risk: When using a barbell investment strat a very high degree of wealth is in boring cash, cd, or Tbills. The smaller portion (24% for me) you assign to high risk high reward plays and take a lot of risk those with more at stake would not.
I’m 80% invested right now. Others are being fearful. I am being greedy.
